There could not be a more socially active performing arts company in Worcestershire than Carpet Trades. Show week becomes so hectic that most of the cast have the week off work to survive! Typically we can enjoy a curry night, a 'chinky', a bottle party and a fish & chip supper, all during the run of the show. There's no hooliganism mind you ! Just a great frenzy of fun for those who are best laughing at themselves rather than others.

The rehearsal period always involves the obligatory trip to the pub after the evening's efforts, even though some of us don't even drink alcohol. Somehow we just arrive there without even questioning it. After all, we need a warm down with our mates afterwards don't we?

But what about the rest of the year? Well there's no rest for the wicked is there? More a case of finding out what we don't do!

Quizzes? Every variety you can ever think of

Shows & entertainments - every venue on the list

What's much more important is that we ask first if everyone's going. Then it doesn't matter what it is we're doing. We just know its going to be fun!
